Show Design
Our shows consist of approximately 25 numbers under 3 minutes long.
Each performance starts with a group or studio logo with a brief description
written by each group. Then the performance begins. The next group follows
with the same format Logo and description then the performance. A show runs
about an hour to an hour and a half. A show may contain a few ads dispersed
between the performances. This is a way for us to cover any additional costs
we may
run into while putting the show together.
A show might on occasion have a surprise guest appearance.
Our Show Info page will contain the details of the upcoming show.
It will also contain a link to that show's program for viewers to download
and print out if they like. The program lists each performance in the show
along with some performance details written by the group performing
such as the dance name, description, and credits if they choose.
The program also includes an area for the viewer to jot down
information
that may help them in voting for the 5 performances
they enjoyed
the most.
A guest professional dancer and/or choreographer will add their 2 cents
into the mix and decide what they feel are the 5 top performances for each
particular show.
They will base their decisions on Artistic & Technical merit
as well as Uniqueness. Tallied together with the viewer votes,
the top 5 will be
given
cash awards with a write up from our Guest Professional.
The awards
are posted on the Show Info page.
In order to have a professional showcase with student dancers, our standards
must be high so not everyone will be chosen to be in a show. We believe
there are
enough extremely talented dancers and choreographers out their
to easily
fill shows. As an additional incentive we will give a code out to all
groups
in each show. They can distribute that code to as many people as they
can
to increase ticket sales. That code will give a 25% discount on each ticket.
Each group will then receive 50% of the reduced show ticket price
for all tickets sold over the first 10 using their
code.
The more tickets that are sold, the more each group can make from ticket sales.
It's a win win win... great exposure, fun experiences, and additional income!
