Official Rules
The official rules cover all services that CyberSpaceShowcase operates including all shows, games, contests, competitions, awards, prizes, advertisements, listings, links, postings, showcases, drawings, videos, audio/video media files, image files, timing clock, maps, coupons, ticket codes, scratch-off cards, chat rooms, information, and materials disclosed, contained, downloaded from, uploaded to, and appearing in print and e-mails from, and on all web sites operated by CyberSpaceShowcase. Entrants, by entering or competing in any CyberSpaceShowcase show accept and agree to be bound by the official rules, regulations, and decisions of CyberSpaceShowcase.
CyberSpaceShowcase reserves the right to accept any entry at its sole discretion.
CyberSpaceShowcase reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason whatsoever at its own discretion. By submitting a registration on any CyberSpaceShowcase web site, you accept and agree to be bound by any rules, regulations, and decisions of CyberSpaceShowcase. All shows are subject to all federal, state, local, and provincial laws and regulations. CyberSpaceShowcase websites have links to Official Rules and Disclaimer pages. CyberSpaceShowcase reserves the right to post in any form on any media including but not limited to ads, web pages, newspapers, magazines, ezines, etc. a listing of award recipients first names, organization names, city & state along with an award description and award donor listing. Any and all awards are not transferable.
Every eligible participant that appears on any CyberSpaceShowcase websites, must be 18 years of age or older, or have parental permission, and has obtained an entry either paid or promotional, for each show entered, and can use their skill to compete to win awards. Gaining a position in one of our shows is based solely on CyberSpaceShowcase's decision that the performance is show-worthy. Placements for prizes in shows are based on a combination of our chosen Professional's picks as well as show ticket holders voting results. Certain decisions may require CyberSpaceShowcase to step in and if it does, it has complete power to make all decisions. CyberSpaceShowcase is not responsible and shall not be liable for delays due to slow or no internet connections, disruption, corruption, interruptions in the appearance or operation of shows and award decisions. The size of each award depends on ticket sales. Awards are given based on performance placement which is determined by our Professional's picks and voting results of show ticket holders. The list of awards is stated on each shows intro page and can increase (with ticket sales) but not decrease during the course of the run of the show. Entrants must supply their own high quality video for a show and are soley responsible for all aspects of the video including all persons, choreography, and art, that appear in the video performance and that all parties agree to the appearance in our show. Only one award allowed per entrant per show. Entrants must have a valid email address. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the award will be given to the authorized account holder of the email address. The "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Remedy for any discrepancies will be determined at the sole discretion of CyberSpaceShowcase. All taxes are the sole responsibility of each individual recipient. Each award is given "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. CyberSpaceShowcase reserves the right to substitute any award for an item of equal or greater value in the event an advertised award is unavailable. By accepting the award, the recipient agrees to hold CyberSpaceShowcase, it's sponsors, donors, employees, agents, representatives, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, partners, successors, assigns, officers, directors, and promotional advisors harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in our shows or acceptance or use of an award. CyberSpaceShowcase is not responsible for any printing, typographical, mechanical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the shows or in the announcement of the award. All shows, games, contests, drawings, and competitions, are subject to all applicable laws and regulations. All shows, games, contests, drawings, and competitions, are void where prohibited, restricted, licensed, or taxed and are subject to all federal, state, local, and provincial laws and regulations.
By entering any show, game, contest, drawing, or competition, you give CyberSpaceShowcase the right to accept your entry affirming that you are able to enter based on the Official Rules and Terms & Conditions & General Disclaimer posted. An entry may be from one e-mail address, person, group, organization, or entity.
Automating entries or votes, use of scripts, or entering and voting by any other automated means will disqualify those entries or votes. Qualifying for awards is open to residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and Canada (excluding Quebec) 18 years of age or older or with parental consent as of the date of entry, except for employees and immediate family members of CyberSpaceShowcase, advertisers and their affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, donors, and any and all other companies associated with these shows. CyberSpaceShowcase has the right to remove an entry that does not meet the entry criteria.
Once a show period ends, award winners will be notified at the e-mail address they provided with their entry within thirty days of the show’s close. CyberSpaceShowcase is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, defective, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify recipients. If an e-mail is returned, not answered, or unable to be sent to the address provided by the organization, group, contestant, or competitor, that award will be given to an alternate at CyberSpaceShowcase’s sole discretion.
By entering any show, game, contest, drawing, or competition operated by CyberSpaceShowcase, participants consent to the use of their first name, organization name, city, & state, in advertising worldwide without compensation (Tennessee residents need not consent). Acceptance of an award constitutes consent to use the recipients first name, organization name, city, & state, for publicity and commercial purposes without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
Award recipients are required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability/publicity release, along with proof of being the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the chosen entry within 14 days of notification attempt (Tennessee residents need not sign publicity release). The awards will be distributed approximately thirty days after receipt of the affidavit, proof, and release. If a selected recipient is ineligible, fails to claim an award or return a completed and signed affidavit and release within 30 days of notification, or for any reason cannot be contacted, an alternate recipient will be selected.
Any attempt to disrupt any show, game, contest, drawing, or competition, or circumvent the Terms & Conditions, General Disclaimer, and these Official Rules will result in immediate termination and disqualification of that entry. That decision will be made at the sole discretion of CyberSpaceShowcase. At any such time, CyberSpaceShowcase reserves the sole right to determine a remedy. In the event any show is compromised by unauthorized intervention, fraud, computer virus, technical failures, or any other means beyond the control of CyberSpaceShowcase and its advertisers, CyberSpaceShowcase reserves the right to terminate the show, game, contest, drawing, or competition, and give the remaining awards among entries received prior to the date of termination. Any disputes related to awards are limited to the value of said award. Disputes/Choice of Law: Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with these shows, games, competitions, drawings, or any awards shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in New York; (2) any and all claims, judgements, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded (collectively, "Special Damages"); and (4) entrant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. New York law, without reference to New York's choice of law rules, governs the shows and all aspects related thereto. CyberSpaceShowcase decisions are final in all matters relating to the shows, games, contests, drawings, and competitions. Information may be changed or updated without notice. Completion of registration or game entry constitutes acceptance of all these terms.
